Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz / 400 g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon (3 g) cumin
- ½ teaspoon (3 g) garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas under cold water.
- Use a clean kitchen towel to gently pat them dry, removing excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the chickpeas in the seasoning mixture until well-coated.
- Spread the chickpeas evenly onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
- Cool before serving; they will continue to crisp up as they cool.
