Ingredients:
- 1 sheet (about 14 ounces / 400g) ready-made puff pastry, thawed
- ½ cup (120ml) Nutella (or other chocolate-hazelnut spread)
- 2 cups (about 250-300g) sliced seasonal fruit (pears, plums, berries, peaches)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Ensure your skillet is oven-safe. If not, prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the Nutella evenly over the bottom of the skillet (or baking sheet). Don't go right to the edges.
- Arrange the sliced fruit attractively over the Nutella, slightly overlapping them.
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet and gently place it over the fruit. Tuck the edges of the pastry inside the skillet to create a neat border.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed up. The fruit should be softened and slightly caramelized.
- Let cool in the skillet for a few minutes before carefully slicing and serving.
