Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet (about 14 ounces / 400g) ready-made puff pastry, thawed
  • ½ cup (120ml) Nutella (or other chocolate-hazelnut spread)
  • 2 cups (about 250-300g) sliced seasonal fruit (pears, plums, berries, peaches)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Ensure your skillet is oven-safe. If not, prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the Nutella evenly over the bottom of the skillet (or baking sheet). Don't go right to the edges.
  3. Arrange the sliced fruit attractively over the Nutella, slightly overlapping them.
  4. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and gently place it over the fruit. Tuck the edges of the pastry inside the skillet to create a neat border.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed up. The fruit should be softened and slightly caramelized.
  6. Let cool in the skillet for a few minutes before carefully slicing and serving.
