Ingredients:

  • 1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (140g)
  • 3 cups (710ml) cold milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened (225g)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (395g)
  • 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers (340g)
  • 3 medium ripe bananas, sliced (about 450g)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until it begins to thicken (around 2 minutes).
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and homogenous.
  4. Arrange a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of the dish. Top with a layer of sliced bananas. Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  5. Repeat the layering process (wafers, bananas, pudding) until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.
  7. Cut into squares or scoop into individual bowls and serve chilled.
