Ingredients:
- 1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (140g)
- 3 cups (710ml) cold milk
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened (225g)
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (395g)
- 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers (340g)
- 3 medium ripe bananas, sliced (about 450g)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until it begins to thicken (around 2 minutes).
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and homogenous.
- Arrange a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of the dish. Top with a layer of sliced bananas. Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat the layering process (wafers, bananas, pudding) until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.
- Cut into squares or scoop into individual bowls and serve chilled.
