Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons (21g) all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons (15g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons (60g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons (45ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 3 tablespoons (42g) vegetable oil (or melted unsalted butter)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons (28g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
- In a microwave-safe mug, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add milk, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract to the mug.
- Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the batter is smooth.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips, if using.
- Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. Start with 1 minute and check for doneness.
- Let cool for a minute or two before serving.
