Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Flaky Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly Grated Nutmeg
  • 1 large Lime Wedge (for rimming)
  • 3 fl oz Reposado Tequila (100% Agave)
  • 1 fl oz Premium Orange Liqueur (e.g., Cointreau)
  • 5 fl oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 5 fl oz 100% Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
  • 1 fl oz Crisp Apple Cider (unfiltered)
  • 4-6 Fresh Cranberries (for garnish)
  • 2 Lime Wheels (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a shallow dish, whisk together the sugar, sea salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until uniformly mixed. This is your spiced rim mixture.
  2. Rim the Glasses: Take the lime wedge and rub it around the outer edge of each glass rim (approximately 1/2 inch deep). Ensure the rim is evenly moist.
  3. Dip and Coat: Gently invert the glasses and dip the moistened rim into the spiced mixture, rotating to coat evenly. Set the glasses aside.
  4. Add Ingredients to Shaker: Pour the Reposado Tequila, Orange Liqueur, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice, and Apple Cider into the bottom half of your cocktail shaker.
  5. Introduce Ice: Fill the shaker 2/3 full with high-quality, large ice cubes.
  6. Seal and Shake: Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for approximately 15–20 seconds until the outside is frosty.
  7. Strain and Serve: Place a fine-mesh strainer over the opening of the glass and pour the mixture through (double-straining) into the prepared glass.
  8. Garnish: Place a lime wheel on the rim or float 2–3 fresh cranberries in the glass for a colourful finish. Serve immediately.
