Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) Imitation Crab Meat, finely chopped
- 4 oz (115g) Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Japanese Mayonnaise (Kewpie), plus more for drizzling
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 2 Avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1/4 cup (30g) Green Onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds, for garnish
- 1 Nori Seaweed Sheet, cut into thin strips, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped imitation crab meat, softened cream cheese, Japanese mayonnaise, Sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Mix well until everything is combined and smooth.
- Gently fold in the diced avocado to preserve its texture.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
- Transfer the dip to a serving dish. Drizzle with a little extra Japanese mayonnaise and sprinkle with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Garnish with nori strips, if desired. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to serve. Recipe: Spicy California Roll Dip
