Ingredients:
- 2 pounds Dungeness crab legs
- 1 cup water
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Fill the bottom of the steamer pot with water, ensuring it does not touch the steaming basket. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the water and add the lemon halves.
- Place the crab legs in the steaming basket. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil. Steam the crab legs for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the steamed crab legs to a serving dish. Drizzle the garlic herb butter over the crab legs and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
