Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup (50g) breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup (280g) grape jelly
  • 1 cup (240ml) barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, combine grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce in a large skillet over low heat. Stir until melted and combined.
  6. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and toss gently to coat. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  7. Plate the meatballs and drizzle with additional sauce if desired.
