Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef
- 1/2 cup (50g) breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (280g) grape jelly
- 1 cup (240ml) barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, combine grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce in a large skillet over low heat. Stir until melted and combined.
- Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and toss gently to coat. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Plate the meatballs and drizzle with additional sauce if desired.
