Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (120 ml) Ginger Ale (chilled)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Grenadine
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice (optional)
  • Maraschino Cherries (for garnish)
  • Orange slice or lemon twist (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the chilled ginger ale into the glass.
  3. Gently pour the grenadine over the ginger ale. It will settle to the bottom.
  4. If using, squeeze in the fresh lime juice.
  5. Use a bar spoon or long spoon to gently stir the drink, combining the grenadine and ginger ale. Avoid over-stirring.
  6. Add 2-3 maraschino cherries to the drink. Optional: add an orange slice or lemon twist.
  7. Serve Immediately.
