Ingredients:
- 2 cups (475ml) Plain Greek Yogurt, full-fat or 2%
- ¾ cup (150g) Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) Vanilla Extract
- ½ cup fresh fruit (berries, chopped mango, etc.) (optional)
- ¼ cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white) (optional)
- ¼ cup crushed cookies (Oreo, digestive biscuits, etc.) (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth and the sugar is dissolved. Adjust sweetness to your liking.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight.
- Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions (typically 20-30 minutes) until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- If desired, gently fold in your chosen mix-ins into the churned frozen yogurt.
- Transfer the frozen yogurt to a freezer-safe container. Freeze for at least 2 hours to harden to a scoopable consistency.
- Scoop and serve! Garnish with extra fruit, chocolate sauce, or whatever your heart desires.
