Ingredients:
- 4 oz (120 ml) gin or vodka
- 1 oz (30 ml) dry vermouth
- 2 oz (60 ml) pickle brine
- Ice cubes
- 2-4 pickle spears or slices
- Fresh dill sprigs (optional)
Instructions:
- Chill the glass by placing your martini glasses in the freezer or filling with ice water.
- In a cocktail shaker, add gin (or vodka), dry vermouth, and pickle brine.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes to the brim.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds if using the shaker, or stir gently for about 30 seconds if mixing in a glass until well chilled.
- Empty the chilled glasses of ice water or take them out of the freezer.
- Using a strainer, pour the mixture into the prepared glasses.
- Add pickle spears or slices on a skewer and optionally a sprig of dill for garnish.
