Ingredients:
- 1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and diced (approx. 300g/10.5 oz)
- 1 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and diced (approx. 300g/10.5 oz)
- 1 pineapple, peeled, cored, and diced (approx. 300g/10.5 oz)
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced (approx. 200g/7 oz)
- 1 lime, juiced (approx. 30 ml/1 fl oz)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 4 oz (115g) good-quality dark chocolate (70% cacao or higher), chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) ground chile powder (ancho, chipotle, or cayenne – adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Combine all diced fruits in a large bowl.
- Gently toss the fruit with lime juice and a pinch of salt.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave with cream until smooth. Be careful not to burn the chocolate.
- Whisk in chile powder and cinnamon into the melted chocolate.
- Divide the fruit salad among serving bowls. Drizzle generously with the chile-chocolate sauce.
