Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (900g) frozen or fresh pre-cut French fries
- 2 quarts (2 liters) vegetable oil
- 2-3 tablespoons truffle oil
- 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). If using an air fryer, preheat to appropriate temperature (usually around 400°F/200°C). Alternatively, preheat oven according to package instructions on fries.
- Fry (or air fry/bake) the fries in batches until golden brown and crispy, following package instructions. Drain on a baking sheet lined with paper towels.
- While the fries are still hot, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with truffle oil.
- Add the Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss gently but thoroughly to coat.
- Serve immediately and enjoy those truffle-infused beauties!
