Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs (900g) frozen or fresh pre-cut French fries
  • 2 quarts (2 liters) vegetable oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons truffle oil
  • 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). If using an air fryer, preheat to appropriate temperature (usually around 400°F/200°C). Alternatively, preheat oven according to package instructions on fries.
  2. Fry (or air fry/bake) the fries in batches until golden brown and crispy, following package instructions. Drain on a baking sheet lined with paper towels.
  3. While the fries are still hot, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with truffle oil.
  4. Add the Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss gently but thoroughly to coat.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy those truffle-infused beauties!
