Ingredients:
- 6 oz sliced turkey breast
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 large romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1/2 medium avocado, sliced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 large 10-inch whole wheat tortillas
Instructions:
- Fry bacon in a skillet over medium heat or air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds and pat both the tomato slices and romaine lettuce leaves with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Spread 1 tbsp of mayonnaise evenly across the center of each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Place the romaine lettuce leaves over the mayonnaise, which serves as the moisture barrier.
- Layer the sliced turkey breast, followed by the crisp bacon and avocado slices.
- Place tomato slices on top and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom up.
- Place the wrap seam-side down in a hot skillet for 60 seconds per side to seal and toast the exterior.
