Ingredients:

  • 6 oz sliced turkey breast
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 large romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 medium avocado, sliced
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large 10-inch whole wheat tortillas

Instructions:

  1. Fry bacon in a skillet over medium heat or air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds and pat both the tomato slices and romaine lettuce leaves with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Spread 1 tbsp of mayonnaise evenly across the center of each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Place the romaine lettuce leaves over the mayonnaise, which serves as the moisture barrier.
  5. Layer the sliced turkey breast, followed by the crisp bacon and avocado slices.
  6. Place tomato slices on top and sprinkle with black pepper.
  7. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom up.
  8. Place the wrap seam-side down in a hot skillet for 60 seconds per side to seal and toast the exterior.
