Ingredients:
- 2 cups (50g) fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp (30ml) extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp (3g) fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Wash the basil leaves in cold water and use a salad spinner or paper towels to pat each leaf completely dry.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the leaves in a single layer without overlapping.
- Using a pastry brush, apply a very thin, even coat of olive oil to both sides of each leaf.
- Sprinkle fine sea salt evenly across the tray of basil leaves.
- Place the tray in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes, checking at 12 minutes, until the leaves feel rigid to the touch.
