Ingredients:
- 1 pack (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 lb thinly sliced deli ham
- 8 oz Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Using a serrated knife, slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create one large top piece and one large bottom piece. Place the bottom slab into a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Layer the Swiss cheese slices evenly across the bottom bread.
- Pile the deli ham on top of the cheese, folding the slices to create height.
- Top the ham with another layer of Swiss cheese, then place the top slab of rolls on top.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and garlic powder until the sugar is dissolved.
- Using a pastry brush, generously coat the tops of the rolls with the butter glaze, allowing some to drip down the sides.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the tops are a deep golden brown.
