Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons celery salt
- 1 tablespoon ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon dried bay leaf, crushed
- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, combine all the spices (celery salt, mustard, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger, crushed bay leaf, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and cardamom).
- Whisk all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined and evenly distributed.
- Taste the spice blend and adjust the cayenne pepper or other spices to your liking.
- Transfer the spice blend to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
