Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz / 170g each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup honey (85g)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (15 ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5 ml)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
- Chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes (if using), lemon juice, and sesame oil.
- Marinate salmon in the glaze for at least 20 minutes, or up to 1 hour.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes. Pan-Fry: Heat olive oil. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions (optional). Serve immediately.
