Ingredients:
- 6 slices thick-cut bread (like Texas toast style)
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (15g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) black pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper (and red pepper flakes, if using) in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over one side of each bread slice.
- Place the bread slices butter-side up on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately.
